As you set up your property, you'll be given the choice of collecting Smart Rent payments through Keyhook or opting for Direct Rent payments and paying via credit card. This choice will determine your payment method.

Keyhook's Smart Rent collection calculates and records your finances, tracks your tenant's rent payments and chases arrears on your behalf by processing your rent payments for you. Keyhook's fee is deducted from your incoming rent.

With Direct Rent payments, rent is paid directly to your bank account without being tracked or calculated. Keyhook's fee is paid via credit card and incurs a $1 surcharge to cover third-party processing fees.

Unfortunately, credit card payment providers charge processing fees. We use Pin Payments, one of the most secure payment platforms out there.
